1. About these terms

This website, lockbunny.com, is operated by LockBunny ("we", "us", "our"). By using this site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the online commerce platform that lets us sell our products to you.

2. Who can buy

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. You agree to give accurate, current information when you check out.

3. The product and how to use it safely

LockBunny is a timed lockbox designed to help families build phone-free routines. Please read the instruction card that comes with it. In particular:

  • It is a routine tool, not a safe or security device. Someone determined could force it open.
  • Children should use it with a parent's guidance.
  • Emergency unlocks are limited (2 per box, for its whole life, and they never reset). Always keep another way to contact emergency services, and don't lock away your household's only emergency phone.
  • The timer can run about 1–5% fast or slow depending on temperature and battery.
  • It isn't waterproof, and a hard drop can damage it.

We aren't responsible for missed calls, messages or other consequences of a phone being locked away while the timer runs.

4. Product information and pricing

We try to describe and show our products accurately. Colours on screen can vary slightly from the real product. Prices are in US dollars and can change at any time, but changes won't affect orders already placed. If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. Orders

We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if we suspect fraud or a product is unavailable. If we cancel after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.

6. Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping is covered by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds by our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site for anything unlawful, to interfere with its security or operation, or to copy our content, photos or branding without permission.

8. Intellectual property

The content on this site, including text, images and the LockBunny name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be used without permission.

9. Disclaimer

Except as stated in our Refund Policy and as required by law, products and the site are provided "as is" and "as available", without other warranties of any kind. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its "Last updated" date, applies to orders placed after that date.
